Amyl and The Sniffers live at The Sylvee in Madison, Wisconsin

“Does the pope shit in the woods?”

It was a night of deep philosophical questions with Amyl and The Sniffers at their sold out show in Madison WI last night. The band had played Chicago the previous day (the home of the new pope) and it had frontwoman Amy Taylor thinking -“I bet he’s shit in the woods!”
The crowd was rowdy for the Australians with non-stop moshing and plenty of bikini clad ladies that Taylor made sure to shout out. Very few breaks were taken with The Sniffers performing at a breakneck pace and playing the majority of their new record Cartoon Darkness.

Highlights included “Me and The Girls”, “Balaclava Lover Boogie”, “Security” and “Stole My Push Bike”.

Taylor took a couple minutes to address the crowd and tell the fellas to “figure it out” and if they were feeling alone “find help within their fellow guy friends” and not to take out aggression on women and their wives and girlfriends. With toxic masculinity being so rampant it was uplifting to hear Taylors words.

The Cartoon Darkness tour is currently making its way through the US, catch Amyl and The Sniffers in a city near you.
