Fans of the band have speculated that a new album will be coming, ever since Styx confirmed the Brotherhood of Rock Tour back in March. The band will visit amphitheaters arenas across the country alongside the Kevin Cronin Band, led by REO Speedwagon frontman Kevin Cronin. The 40 dates include full-album performances of Styx’s 1977 blockbuster The Grand Illusion and REO Speedwagon’s 1980 smash Hi Infidelity. Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder will open all shows.

The tour begins tonight, May 28, in Greenville, S.C. at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. The run will wrap up on August 24 at Milwaukee’s American Family Insurance Amphitheater.

This tour will provide an opportunity for fans across the country to catch two of the most celebrated Las Vegas residencies in some time, in which both Styx and the Kevin Cronin Band performed the aforementioned albums at Vegas’s Venetian Theatre.
