Lenny Kravitz Returning To Las Vegas For Five-Night Residency

Lenny Kravitz is about to make big things happen in Vegas. The rocker is scheduled for a five-night residency in Las Vegas this summer in support of his recent album Blue Electric Light. The gigs will take place Aug. 1, 2, 6, 8, and 9 at Dolby Live at Park MGM, where Kravitz previously held court in October 2024. Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster.

Kravitz, the hit-maker behind unforgettable tracks such as “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” “Fly Away,” and “It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over,” has also carved out an accomplished career as an actor in films such as The Hunger Games, Precious, and Shotgun Wedding. He has sold over 40 million albums worldwide and won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Performance four consecutive years from 1999 to 2022.

Released in May 2024, Blue Electric Light marked Kravitz’s first album in six years. American Songwriter praised the album for its “crackling life and inspired sparkle,” while Mojo raved that, nearly four decades into his career, “he hasn’t lost his touch.” Kravitz told Stereogum, “This record’s been great because it’s celebration, it’s fun, and it’s got a lot of energy. It’s spiritual and sensual. Production-wise, I had a lot of fun with it. It’s the record I didn’t make in high school before I made Let Love Rule.”

Speaking to Billboard, he described the experience of making the album at his studio in the Bahamas while sequestered during COVID lockdown: “This one has probably been the most fun I’ve had in a while, just the spirit around the whole thing. I think that had a lot to do with the world being shut down and, for the first time in my life since being a small child, not having to be somewhere at a certain time.”

Now that Kravitz is on the promotional trail, he once again has many places to be. Before the Vegas residency, he’ll headline the Halifax Music Fest on June 28. After Vegas, he has several more festival dates lined up across the U.S., including events such as Ravinia, JAS Aspen Snowmass, Sea.Hear.Now, Shaky Knees, Oceans Calling, and Evolution Festival.
