The upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic, *Deliver Me From Nowhere*, is set to bring some extra rock star energy with Rival Sons frontman Jay Buchanan joining the cast. Buchanan recently shared the news, although his specific role in the film is still under wraps. He expressed his excitement, saying, “It was a huge honor to be cast in this film. Working with director Scott Cooper was a masterclass in creative vision, and Jeremy Allen White is an absolutely incredible talent.”
The trailer for *Deliver Me From Nowhere* has also been released, giving fans a first listen to Jeremy Allen White singing Springsteen’s songs. He sounds impressive! The trailer also features Jeremy Strong as Jon Landau, Springsteen’s longtime manager. Strong describes the film as “a love story in a sense between these two men.” He added, “Jon was a kind and loving mentor who offered the guidance Bruce needed at that moment in his life.” Strong has spent the last seven months preparing for this role and has witnessed the deep bond between Springsteen and Landau.
The film boasts a talented cast, including Emmy Award-winning actor Paul Walter Hauser as Springsteen’s guitar tech Mike Batlan, Marc Maron as producer Chuck Plotkin, Stephen Graham as Bruce’s father, Douglas “Dutch” Springsteen, and Gaby Hoffmann as his mother, Adele Springsteen.
