I Prevail has just released a new song titled “Annihilate Me,” which is part of their upcoming album, “Violent Nature.” This is the fourth single from the album, following “Into Hell,” “Rain,” and the title track. Fans can expect the full album to drop on September 19.
“Violent Nature” is significant as it is the first album since the departure of vocalist Brian Burkheiser. He had been with the band since they formed in 2013, singing alongside Eric Vanlerberghe. In May, I Prevail announced that Burkheiser was leaving, and Vanlerberghe would take over as the lead vocalist moving forward.
Burkheiser has stated that there is no bad blood between him and the band, but he feels he “didn’t deserve how things went down.”
