Ann Wilson Honors the Memory of Late Heart Manager Michael Fisher 

Ann Wilson recently paid tribute to Michael Fisher, the former manager of Heart and her longtime partner. Fisher passed away earlier this week, though the cause of death has not been revealed.

In her tribute, Ann shared a heartfelt photo of the two together. She wrote, “Michael lived life fully and loved completely. Now he is taking his long journey to the next incarnation he always believed would come. He was a beautiful human…a profound soul…a divine spirit. Bon voyage, my old love.”

Michael Fisher’s brother, Roger, who is a founding member and guitarist for Heart, confirmed the news of his passing. Roger expressed how much Michael’s smile could light up a room and how he inspired those around him. He highlighted Michael’s love for nature, technology, and life itself, saying, “His impact and inspiration to the band Heart and the music world are immeasurable.”

Ann and Michael dated for most of the 1970s before breaking up in 1979. He played a significant role in the band’s success and famously inspired the classic Heart song “Magic Man.”

Fans of Heart and music lovers everywhere are mourning the loss of Michael Fisher, remembering him for his vibrant spirit and lasting influence on the band and beyond.
