Bruce Springsteen surprised fans today, August 22, with the release of “Lonely Night In The Park.” This rare outtake comes from the recording sessions of his iconic album, Born To Run, which turns 50 on August 25.
In a statement, Sony Music shared that the track was recorded during the famous sessions at the Record Plant. It was seriously considered for the album but didn’t make the final cut. Now, fans can hear “Lonely Night In The Park” in studio quality for the first time.
Along with the new song, Springsteen also released fresh images from the Born To Run album cover shoot. These photos were taken by Eric Meola and showcase the spirit of that era. You can check out the images below.
