Def Leppard Delivers Electrifying Performance of ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’ on ‘America’s Got Talent’

Def Leppard proved once again why they are rock legends by performing their classic hit, “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” on America’s Got Talent. The performance was a blast, with flames shooting up behind the band as they rocked the stage. The lyrics were shown on screen, but the audience sang along with enthusiasm, making it clear they knew every word.

After the show, host Terry Crews asked lead singer Joe Elliott for advice to the contestants. He simply said, “Live your dream.”

“Pour Some Sugar On Me” is one of the standout tracks from the band’s 1987 album, Hysteria. It reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and made it into the top 20 in the UK.

Def Leppard’s appearance comes during their North American summer tour, which features special guests Bret Michaels, The Struts, and Extreme. The tour kicked off on May 15 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and will wrap up on August 31 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The band also released episode seven of their “Behind The Tour” series, where they explore places like Bethel and Saratoga Springs. They visit the original Woodstock site and share memories from touring with Ozzy Osbourne during the 1980s. They even paid tribute to him with a cover of Black Sabbath’s “Changes.”

In exciting news, Def Leppard announced a Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. They will perform every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from February 3 to February 28, 2026. Fans can now shop for Def Leppard vinyl and CDs.
