Lady A is set to release a new Christmas album, their first in 13 years. Titled *On This Winter’s Night (Volume 2)*, the album features 11 holiday classics and original songs. It will be available on September 26.
“We’re really excited about being on the road in December for our first Christmas tour,” said Dave Haywood of Lady A. “This album is filled with so much joy and gratitude – I hope it reaches fans this season the way we feel it ourselves.”
*On This Winter’s Night (Volume 2)* is produced by Nathan Chapman, Sam Ellis, and Dann Huff. The album kicks off with the original song “Wouldn’t Be Christmas” and includes traditional favorites like “Winter Wonderland.” It also features modern classics such as George Michael’s “Last Christmas,” Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmastime,” and The Beach Boys’ “Little Saint Nick.” Ricky Skaggs joins on the original track “Why We Sing Noel,” and Chris Tomlin sings on “Silent Night.”
This December, Lady A will embark on their first-ever Christmas tour. The 12-show *This Winter’s Night Tour* starts on December 5 in Atlanta, GA, at the Atlanta Symphony Hall and wraps up with three shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium from December 21-23.
Lead vocalist Hillary Scott shared, “We hope this record and our first-ever Christmas tour will be an opportunity for families and fans to usher in the Holiday Spirit with fun, joy, and gratitude.”
