Playboi Carti has announced his much-anticipated Antagonist Tour, set to kick off this fall. The tour, promoted by Live Nation, will see Carti headlining arenas across the US. Artist presale begins on Tuesday, August 26th at 10 AM local time, with general sales starting on Friday, August 29th at 10 AM at playboicarti.com.
This will be Carti’s first solo headline tour since 2021, when he wowed fans with sold-out shows in cities like Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and Denver in support of his #1 album, Whole Lotta Red. Earlier this year, he released his second #1 album, MUSIC, which sold over 298,000 copies in its first week. The album has over 3 billion streams worldwide and is the 9th highest rap album debut of all time. It also had 139 million first-day streams on Spotify, marking the highest debut of 2025 so far.
MUSIC received praise from critics, with Rolling Stone calling it a “rap-reconfiguring album.” Billboard recognized Carti as “one of the most distinctive voices in rap,” while NME labeled him an “untouchable force.” All 30 tracks from the album debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, making Carti the first rapper to chart 30 or more songs on the chart. He joins Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen as one of only three artists to achieve this.
Carti recently delivered a high-energy performance at the BET Awards and previously performed at the GRAMMY Awards with The Weeknd. They are nominated for 3 MTV VMAs for their collaboration “Timeless.”
The Antagonist Tour kicks off in Salt Lake City, UT on October 3 and will hit major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, and his hometown of Atlanta. Supporting acts include Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang, marking their first tour as part of the Opium Collective. Ken Carson’s latest album, More Chaos, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, while Destroy Lonely’s recent releases have also gained significant attention.
Get ready for an exciting fall filled with live performances and unique fan experiences!
