Canadian rock band Three Days Grace has released their eighth album, *Alienation*, through RCA Records on August 22. Fans were thrilled to see original vocalist Adam Gontier return to share vocals with current frontman and bassist Matt Walst. The lineup also includes Neil Sanderson on drums and keyboards, and Barry Stock on guitar.
The new album features 12 tracks, including two chart-toppers, marking the first time both singers have collaborated on a project. Before the full album dropped, the band released singles “Apologies” and “Mayday,” which gained radio success. Fans also got a sneak peek with tracks “Dominate” and “Kill Me Fast” available on streaming platforms.
*Alienation* balances heavy riffs with softer moments. Standout tracks include “In Cold Blood,” “In Waves,” and “Deathwish,” showcasing the band’s powerful sound. They also explore a gentler side with “Never Ordinary,” while “Don’t Wanna Go Home Tonight” adds a pop twist. The album’s production team has worked with big names like Blink-182 and Bring Me The Horizon.
Neil Sanderson described *Alienation* as “a journey through inner collapse and outward defiance,” reflecting feelings of isolation. The band has seen great success, with their hit “I Hate Everything About You” surpassing a billion streams on Spotify. They’ve topped the Mediabase Active Rock Chart 20 times and dominated Billboard’s Mainstream Rock list 19 times.
After a busy tour across Canada and Europe, Three Days Grace will hit the road with Breaking Benjamin starting August 29, with Return to Dust opening the shows. Fans can stream *Alienation* on major platforms or grab a copy at local record stores.
