Dave Grohl surprised fans at Chevy Metal’s concert in Agoura Hills, California, on Saturday. Chevy Metal was co-founded by the late Taylor Hawkins, the former drummer of Foo Fighters, and now features his son, Shane Hawkins.
Grohl joined the band on stage to perform “Beef Bologna,” a song by the punk band Fear. The performance also included Fear’s lead singer, Lee Ving.
The concert had some other special guests too, including Gene Simmons from KISS, Scott Ian from Anthrax, former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach, and Elliot Easton from The Cars.
In addition to this surprise appearance, Grohl is preparing for an upcoming tour in Asia with Foo Fighters, starting in October. This will be the band’s first tour since Grohl’s 2024 scandal and the departure of drummer Josh Freese.
Fans are excited to see Grohl and the band back on stage!
