This Day in Rock History: September 3 

September 3 is a significant day for rock fans, marking key moments from legendary artists like Judas Priest and The Beatles. Here are some of the most important rock events that have happened on this day.

1983: The iconic duo Eurythmics hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with their massive hit “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).” This song became their signature track.

1990: Judas Priest released their 12th studio album, *Painkiller*. This was the last album featuring their legendary frontman, Rob Halford, for 15 years, until *Angel of Retribution* in 2005.

Rock music is also about the stories behind the artists. One notable moment happened in 1968 when drummer Ringo Starr returned to The Beatles after briefly leaving during the recording of *The White Album*. He had left due to tension among the band members but came back to finish the sessions.
