Rush Tribute Band Announces 2026 Tour Featuring Complete Performance of ‘Moving Pictures’ Album

Starting January 28, 2026, music fans can look forward to the Rush Tribute Project’s North American tour. The band will perform Rush’s iconic album *Moving Pictures* in its entirety, along with some classic hits from Rush’s extensive catalog. The tour kicks off in Madison, Wisconsin, and wraps up in Corpus Christi, Texas, on June 14, 2026.

Each concert will be divided into two parts. The first set will feature the full *Moving Pictures* album. After a short break, the band will play a mix of popular songs and rare tracks that true Rush fans love. Expect to hear favorites like “Tom Sawyer,” “Red Barchetta,” “YYZ,” and “Limelight,” along with hidden gems like “La Villa Strangiato” and “Enter Nous.”

The stage will be filled with vintage gear, and the atmosphere will be enhanced by dynamic lighting and visuals. Every piece of equipment is modeled after what the original Rush members used, ensuring an authentic experience.

Three talented musicians make up the tribute band. Sean Jones takes the lead with vocals and bass, channeling Geddy Lee’s energy. Bill Heck skillfully plays guitar, capturing Alex Lifeson’s style. Thomas Slawnik, who joined in 2013, keeps the beat on drums that replicate Rush’s R30 tour kit.

Since forming in 2013, the band has gained a loyal following. They’ve performed at RushCon, a gathering for die-hard fans, and even brought their music to troops stationed in Kuwait. The band is dedicated to recreating the sound and excitement that made Rush one of the best-selling rock bands ever.
