If you were worried that Paramore had played their last note, don’t be. Hayley Williams, the band’s dynamic frontwoman, wants fans to know she’s just taking a break, not saying goodbye. In a recent interview, she shared some insights about the band’s future.
“Do we ever know where we’re at?!” Williams said, referring to Paramore’s usual pattern of taking long breaks. She explained that the band often steps back to process life before jumping into a new album. “It takes the amount of time it takes between albums,” she added.
Even though Williams has released a new solo project, she made it clear that Paramore is still very much together. “There are no better musicians in the world than Zac [Farro] and Taylor [York],” she said. “It’s just magic, man.”
Earlier this summer, Williams surprised fans with a new album titled *Ego Death*, which she released on August 28. This project is personal for her, and she mentioned that going solo helps her grow in new ways. “It’s really important for me to strengthen other muscles and parts of myself,” she explained.
As for Paramore, fans shouldn’t worry. Their latest album, *This Is Why*, came out in 2023, and they even released a fresh version of it.
