Portugal. The Man Releases New Single ‘Denali’ and Launches 21-City Tour in November

Portugal. The Man has just dropped their new single “Denali” on September 3, 2025. This marks their first major release since their 2023 album, *Chris Black Changed My Life*. The band, hailing from Alaska, is gearing up for a big tour starting November 6.

“Denali” breaks from their usual sound, blending powerful guitar riffs with shimmering synths and sharp tambourine hits. John Gourley’s vocals shine through, making this track a fresh addition to their discography. The song is named after the famous Alaskan mountain, paying homage to the band’s roots.

The upcoming ‘Denali’ Headline Tour kicks off with two nights at Portland’s Revolution Hall. The band will travel across North America, hitting iconic venues like Oakland’s Fox Theater, Minneapolis’s First Avenue, Chicago’s The Salt Shed, and Terminal 5 in New York.

Portugal. The Man rose to fame with their 2017 album *Woodstock*, featuring the hit single “Feel It Still.” This track earned them a GRAMMY for ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ and a 7x RIAA Platinum certification. They’ve made a significant impact on alternative radio and the Top 40 charts.

Beyond music, the band is dedicated to social causes. Their Pass The Mic Foundation, launched in 2020, focuses on human rights, public health, and environmental protection, with a special emphasis on supporting Indigenous Peoples. They’ve raised over a million dollars for various causes and started PTM’s NIGHT OUT to improve concert experiences for disabled fans.

The tour runs from November to December 12, with stops in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Austin. Want to catch them live? Check out their website for show details and ticket info!
