Foo Fighters Hint at Upcoming Music Release with Studio Images and Worldwide Tour Announcements

The Foo Fighters are back in the studio! Dave Grohl shared some behind-the-scenes photos from Studio 606 in Los Angeles, giving fans a sneak peek into their recording process. The band posted three updates and encouraged fans to sign up for their newsletter.

To celebrate 30 years together, the Foo Fighters released a new single called “Today’s Song” in July. They also covered Minor Threat’s classic “I Don’t Wanna Hear It.” Grohl reflected on the band’s journey, saying, “Over the years, we’ve had moments of unbridled joy, and moments of devastating heartbreak. Moments of beautiful victory, and moments of painful defeat.”

The first photo from the studio appeared on September 4, showing six pairs of shoes arranged in a circle. Two days later, they shared images of Grohl, bassist Nate Mendel, and guitarist Pat Smear recording music. Lead guitarist Chris Shiflett joined them to wrap up the week. This is their first studio time since drummer Josh Freese left in May. Ilan Rubin, formerly of Nine Inch Nails, took over drumming duties in July. Interestingly, Freese returned to Nine Inch Nails, where he played from 2005 to 2008.

The Foo Fighters’ last full album, *But Here We Are*, was released in 2023. It was their first album after the passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2022. On October 18, Grohl will attend a charity gala in Los Angeles to support his efforts in providing meals to those in need.

The band is also gearing up for a tour across Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, and Mexico, which will run through November. This will be their first live performance since September 2024. Fans are excited to see what’s next for the Foo Fighters!
