After a long wait, The Pretty Reckless released their new single “For I Am Death” on September 5. This marks their return after a busy 15-month tour with AC/DC, and it’s their first new music in four years. Next month, they’ll also be featured on a special tribute album for Bad Company.
Lead singer Taylor Momsen shared her excitement, saying, “This is just the beginning. The next 12 months are going to be insane. We have a lot planned, and some things will surprise you.” The band just wrapped up AC/DC’s Power Up Tour, which ended on August 21, playing 61 shows and filling venues across the country. Momsen reflected on the experience, saying, “I think we’ve made a lifelong connection here. They’re the greatest people, and they represent what rock and roll is all about. This has been a dream come true.”
Since forming in 2009, The Pretty Reckless has rocked stages around the world. With Momsen’s powerful vocals, Ben Phillips on guitar, Mark Damon on bass, and Jamie Perkins on drums, they’ve sold over a million records.
On October 24, fans can look forward to their cover of “All Right Now” as part of the album Can’t Get Enough: A Tribute To Bad Company. This classic 1970 hit will get a fresh twist from the band.
Momsen started her career at just seven years old, singing “Where Are You Christmas?” in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She later gained fame as Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl before fully committing to music in 2011. The band is currently working on their fifth album, and fans can expect more new music and surprises in the coming year. The Pretty Reckless has already produced multiple No. 1 hits, and there’s more to come!
