Carly Rae Jepsen has released a new song called “Guardian Angel.” This track is one of six bonus songs on the E•MO•TION (10th Anniversary Edition), which comes out on October 17. The collection features remixes of “Run Away With Me” by Kyle Shearer and Rostam, along with four unreleased tracks: “More,” “Back Of My Heart,” “Lost In Devotion,” and “Guardian Angel.”
In “Guardian Angel,” Jepsen sings heartfelt lines like, “I wanna be your guardian angel/ I wanna be the words you pray.” The album will be available in various formats, including a digital deluxe version, ATMOS, and special vinyl editions. Fans can look forward to a blue swirl vinyl, a zoetrope vinyl, and a magenta swirl vinyl with an alternate cover.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of E•MO•TION, Jepsen performed the album in full at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. This album has been a game-changer for her career, earning cult-classic status with over one billion streams. It has been praised by major music outlets and includes hits like “I Really Like You” and “Run Away With Me.”
Jepsen first released E•MO•TION on June 24, 2015, where it quickly climbed the charts in Canada and the U.S. Recently, she also released two albums, The Loneliest Time in 2022 and The Loveliest Time in 2023. Plus, she’s working with Lena Dunham on a Broadway musical based on 10 Things I Hate About You.
