​Eddie Vedder and Michael Stipe are among the artists providing artwork for a New York benefit event. 

Eddie Vedder, Paul McCartney, and Michael Stipe are among the artists creating original pieces for a special benefit called Turn it Up. This event will be held at Housing Works’ Crosby Street location on October 9. The artwork will be auctioned off to support Housing Works’ mission of providing housing, health care, and services for people living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic conditions.

Other musicians joining the cause include Patti Smith, Ezra Koenig from Vampire Weekend, Paul Banks from Interpol, Sean Lennon, and Chappell Roan. More artists are expected to participate as well.
