Foo Fighters have just dropped a new live EP titled *Are Playing Where??? Vol. I*. This six-track collection was recorded during their recent surprise shows in San Luis Obispo and Santa Ana, California, as well as in Washington, D.C., and New Haven, Connecticut.
These concerts were special because they marked the first performances with their new drummer, Ilan Rubin. Rubin, who previously played with Nine Inch Nails, stepped in after Josh Freese was let go in May. Freese had joined the band in 2023 following the passing of Taylor Hawkins. Interestingly, Freese has returned to Nine Inch Nails, where he played from 2005 to 2008.
