Led Zeppelin’s ‘Trampled Underfoot’ Single Returns for Record Store Day on Black Friday

Get ready for a classic release this Black Friday! As part of Record Store Day (RSD), Led Zeppelin’s 1975 promo single, “Trampled Underfoot,” will be available in record stores on November 28. Only 6,100 copies will be released worldwide, so don’t miss out!

This special 7-inch vinyl features the title track on one side and “Black Country Woman” on the B-side. Both songs use the remastered audio from the 2015 edition of Physical Graffiti, which was produced by Jimmy Page. The lacquers for this release were cut at Metropolis Studios in London, ensuring top-notch quality.

The announcement for this release had a bit of a rocky start. It was first revealed on September 22, but was quickly deleted just four hours later. A second attempt on October 2 lasted only an hour before it was taken down again. Finally, the news was confirmed later that day on Led Zeppelin’s website, complete with some cool images of the band.

While the main RSD event happens in the spring, Black Friday has its own excitement. This fall event is all about rare releases at independent record shops, just in time for the holiday shopping season. Remember, these singles won’t be sold online. RSD keeps it old-school, so you’ll need to visit a local shop, dig through the bins, and grab your copy in person.

For more details about RSD Black Friday, check out their official site. Don’t miss your chance to add this classic to your collection!
