Perry Farrell is moving on to new musical projects now that Jane’s Addiction has ended. He is featured on a new track called “Joya” by English techno DJ Carl Cox, which is out now.
Farrell expressed his excitement, saying, “It means the world to me that we’re making people so happy with our music.” Cox added, “When the opportunity came to work with Perry, I jumped at it and sent him the idea for ‘Joya’! It just came together so beautifully. I have been proud to play it as the closer for all of my sets in the last year. People respond to it with such joy, and that is what I was aiming for all along!”
Jane’s Addiction ended dramatically in 2024 when Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro got into a physical fight during a concert in Boston. The band broke up soon after, and Farrell, Navarro, bassist Eric Avery, and drummer Stephen Perkins are now involved in legal disputes with each other.
Fans are eager to see what Farrell will do next as he explores new musical paths.
