Rock stars are set to take over the Adelaide Grand Final race concerts! This two-night music event will light up the Adelaide Street Circuit on November 29 and 30, featuring an all-star lineup led by Lenny Kravitz and AC/DC.
On the first night, Lenny Kravitz and Jet will perform alongside First Nations hip hop group DEM MOB and rising star My Chérie. The second night will see AC/DC take the stage, joined by Amyl and the Sniffers and local act Oscar The Wild.
Christine Schloithe, CEO of MusicSA, expressed excitement about the event, saying, “Supporting emerging South Australian artists to perform on some of the biggest stages in the country is at the heart of what we do. Having local acts like DEM MOB, My Chérie, and Oscar The Wild share the stage with legends like Lenny Kravitz and AC/DC is an incredible opportunity that celebrates our vibrant local scene.”
DEM MOB, hailing from the APY Lands, is making waves as pioneers of Pitjantjatjara rap. Their unique blend of beats and social messages has taken them from WOMADelaide to major festivals in Spain and New York. My Chérie, fresh off a nomination for the 2025 SA Music Awards, is also set to shine. Oscar The Wild has shared stages with big names like Bloc Party and Grinspoon at festivals like BIGSOUND and Harvest Rock.
Concert manager Brian Gleeson OAM noted, “It is an amazing opportunity for these local artists to share the stage with internationally renowned acts.”
These concerts are a highlight of the bp Adelaide Grand Final racing event, running from November 27 to 30. They also kick off Good Music Month, showcasing South Australia’s live music scene. Tickets are available now, and all the action will take place at the Adelaide Street Circuit. Don’t miss out!
