Flea is diving into the world of YouTube! The Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist has launched his own channel, and his first video is titled “thinkin.” In it, he plays the trumpet for a happy toddler, showcasing his musical talent.
Flea is not just a great bassist; he’s also skilled at playing the trumpet. Nick Cave has even mentioned that Flea is working on a trumpet album, and they collaborated on a song for the project.
Recently, Flea performed at the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on November 8, honoring the late Sly Stone. Highlights from the ceremony will be featured in a special on ABC on January 1.
As for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, they had a quieter 2025 after a busy couple of years touring for their two 2022 albums, “Unlimited Love” and “Return of the Dream Canteen.” They did make an appearance at the FireAid benefit concert in January.
Fans can look forward to more from Flea on his YouTube channel and keep an eye out for new music from him and the Chili Peppers!
