Live Nation Australia and the Australian Open are teaming up to launch AO Live Opening Week, a brand-new live music event to kick off the tournament in style. From January 13 to 16, 2026, the popular TOPCOURT area at Birrarung Marr will turn into an open-air stage for four nights of top-notch electronic music.
The lineup features big names like Hot Chip, Elderbrook, Cassian, and The Presets, along with a strong support bill of local talent and rising Australian artists. Mike Ross from Live Nation said, “AO Live will open the tournament like never before. We’re bringing global stars to the vibrant atmosphere of TOPCOURT, giving fans a new way to connect and celebrate the Open.”
Gus Carmichael, the AO Entertainment Experience Producer, added, “AO Live Opening Week is all about starting the Australian Open with a bang. We’re excited to bring some of the world’s best electronic artists to one of Melbourne’s most stunning outdoor stages.”
Here’s the lineup for AO Live Opening Week:
– Hot Chip (Live) with support from Milo Eastwood and O Honey – Tuesday, January 13 at 5:30 PM. The beloved British synth-pop band is back to celebrate their new Best Of album, bringing their dance-floor hits.
– Elderbrook (Live) with support from Samantha Loveridge, Juno Mamba, and Jordz – Wednesday, January 14 at 5:30 PM. The Grammy-nominated DJ and producer known for the hit “Cola” will showcase his acclaimed live performance.
– Cassian with support from Willo, OLIIV, and bellxsxs – Thursday, January 15 at 5:30 PM. The Melbourne-born DJ, now based in LA, is riding high on his recent remix of “Love Parade.”
– The Presets (Live) with support from RONA, Harvey Sutherland (DJ Set), and Post Percy – Friday, January 16 at 5:30 PM. The iconic duo continues to shape Australia’s electronic music scene with classics like “My People.”
