Gavin Rossdale, the frontman of Bush, is teaming up with PETA for a new campaign that encourages pet adoption from animal shelters. In the campaign, Rossdale is featured with his dog, Kaya, whom he adopted from the East Valley Animal Shelter in California.
Rossdale urges fans, “Please don’t buy from breeders. Consider going to a shelter because those animals really need you. The bond you will create and the rewards are immeasurable.”

Kaya has been on the road with Rossdale while he tours to promote Bush’s latest album, *I Beat Loneliness*, which was released in July. This campaign highlights the importance of adopting pets and giving them a loving home.
