The Pretty Reckless is back in the studio, working on their fifth album after a short break for holiday music. Frontwoman Taylor Momsen shared that the band is “putting the final touches” on the new record. She mentioned, “I don’t wanna get too detailed into it because it’s hard to talk about music people haven’t heard. But it’s very us and very authentic. I’m really looking forward to playing it live.”
The first single from the album, titled “For I Am Death,” was released in August. When asked about the full album’s release, Momsen hinted, “It is the near future.” She added, “2026 is gonna be a very exciting year for us.”
In the meantime, fans can enjoy their holiday music with the EP titled *Taylor Momsen’s Pretty Reckless Christmas*. This set features Momsen revisiting “Where Are You Christmas?,” a song she originally performed as a child actress in the 2000 film *How the Grinch Stole Christmas*.
