Denny’s is entering the sneaker game with its new “Sticky Kicks.” These limited edition high tops actually have Denny’s syrup sealed inside the shoe panels. Talk about a sweet surprise! The sneakers will launch on National Maple Syrup Day, December 17th. Denny’s teamed up with footwear artist Mache to create this unique design.
The Sticky Kicks feature syrup-colored leather, clear panels that showcase the maple syrup, and a bold Denny’s badge. They come in adult sizes 8 to 13.
“Sticky Kicks was the perfect mix of fun design and high-quality materials,” said designer Mache. “It had its challenges during development, but we’re proud of this collector’s item.” Just a heads up: the syrup inside the shoes is for decoration only and not meant to be eaten or opened.
“Sticky Kicks are impractical and over-the-top, which is why we love them,” said Ellie Doty, Denny’s Senior VP and Chief Brand Officer. “Syrup is part of our identity, so it makes sense to turn it into fashion.”
These sneakers will be available for a limited time, starting at $195. Are you ready to grab a pair of Sticky Kicks?
