MGK has just dropped a new song titled “Times of My Life.” If you’re a die-hard fan, you might recognize it from earlier leaks. The track was originally recorded during the sessions for his 2020 album, *Tickets to My Downfall*, but it didn’t make the final cut. MGK explained back then that it was left off due to its similarity to an unnamed Tom Petty song, which the Petty estate chose not to clear.
The official version of “Times of My Life” was created in collaboration with his frequent partner, Travis Barker. You can check out the music video on YouTube, where MGK sports a shirt that reads “Don’t think twice it’s all right,” likely a nod to the Bob Dylan song of the same name. Dylan even narrated the trailer for MGK’s upcoming album, *Lost Americana*, set to release in 2025.
