In spring 2025, Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd announced that the band would release a new album in October, with the first single coming “very soon.” However, October has passed, and now we’re in a new year without any new music from Incubus.
Boyd recently addressed the delay in an Instagram post. He explained, “It’s a long story, but we went back into the studio to write and record more after thinking we were done.” He promised fans, “I’ll pop back in soon and update you on when new music will be ready to share.”
Incubus last released an album in 2017 called *8*. Since then, they put out an EP titled *Trust Fall (Side B)* in 2020 and a rerecorded version of their 2001 album, *Morning View*, in 2024. Fans are eagerly waiting for the new music, and it looks like there’s more to come! Stay tuned for updates from Boyd and the band.
