John Mellencamp is hitting the road for a 19-city tour to celebrate his greatest hits. The “Dancing Words Tour — The Greatest Hits,” produced by Live Nation, kicks off on July 10 at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The tour will stop at various amphitheaters and theaters across the U.S., including Northwell at Jones Beach Theater near New York City and the Hollywood Bowl. It wraps up on August 12 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
Fans can expect to hear Mellencamp’s classic songs like “Pink Houses,” “Jack and Diane,” “Small Town,” “Hurts So Good,” and “Authority Song.” He will also perform tracks he hasn’t played live in over a decade, such as “R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A.,” “I Need a Lover,” “Wild Nights,” and “Ain’t Even Done With the Night.”
Citi presale starts at 10 a.m. local time on January 20 and runs until 10 p.m. on January 22. General tickets go on sale January 23 at 10 a.m. local time.
