Bret Michaels appears to respond to report claiming he sabotaged Poison’s 40th anniversary tour.

Bret Michaels has shared his thoughts following Rikki Rockett’s recent comments about a canceled 40th anniversary Poison tour. In a New York Post interview, Rockett revealed that the tour fell through because Michaels requested six times the amount that the other band members were set to receive.

Michaels took to Facebook to address the situation. He started by congratulating Green Day and Bad Bunny on their upcoming Super Bowl performances, saying he’s excited to watch and hinted at a personal NFL dream coming true soon.

He then acknowledged Rockett, who was recently inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame, wishing him a great time at the ceremony. Michaels emphasized that he sees Poison as a team made up of himself, Bobby Dall, C.C. DeVille, and Rikki Rockett. He also expressed his love for his solo project, the Bret Michaels Band.

Michaels concluded with a positive message, stating, “I love music, I love the fans, and I’m always grateful. Let’s focus on the good things in 2026 and the possibility of a future reunion.”

Rockett also shared his enthusiasm for a reunion, saying, “I’d love for that to happen.” Fans are hopeful for what the future holds for Poison!
