It’s official! The teams for Super Bowl LX are set. The New England Patriots will take on the Seattle Seahawks on February 8, 2026, in San Francisco. Besides the game, we’re also looking forward to the performances and, of course, the commercials. Super Bowl ads are legendary, and everyone loves to see what brands come up with. A great Super Bowl commercial can become iconic, while others might be remembered for all the wrong reasons. Either way, it’s a day when millions will watch your ad at once.
But how much does it cost to get that kind of exposure? Super Bowl ads are pricey, and this year is no exception. The cost for a 30-second spot has reached a staggering $8 million, according to reports. NBCU initially wanted $7 million, but demand pushed the price up quickly. The spots sold out fast, even before the regular season ended.
If you think $8 million is wild, check out the prices from the last few years:
– 2025: $7 million (some close to $8 million)
– 2024: $7 million
– 2023: $7 million
– 2022: $6.5 million
– 2021: $5.5 million
Attending the Super Bowl is one thing, but advertising during it is a whole different ball game. Which commercial are you most excited to see this year?
