Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and Rise Against are set to perform in Minneapolis this Friday in a concert protesting the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The event will take place at First Avenue, a popular downtown venue. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., and the show kicks off at noon.
All ticket sales will support the families of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who tragically lost their lives in January due to actions by federal immigration agents in Minneapolis.
Morello shared a powerful message about the current state of affairs, stating, “If it looks like fascism, sounds like fascism, acts like fascism, it is fascism. It’s here, it’s now, and it must be resisted.” He encourages everyone to stand up against these issues.
The concert will also feature performances by Al Di Meola and Ike Reilly, along with some surprise guests. This is a chance to enjoy great music while supporting a vital cause. Don’t miss out on this important event!
