Pennsylvania’s Spring Weather Forecast Has a Twist

This winter has been a tough one for much of the U.S., and we’re all ready for spring to arrive. After months of freezing temperatures and unexpected snow, it’s time for warmer days. Even places like Florida, which usually escape winter, have felt the chill.

So, what’s in store for spring 2026? The forecast shows that many areas will experience warmer-than-normal temperatures, especially in May, which could be about 3°F above average. However, states like Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and parts of Montana and Colorado might see temperatures closer to or below normal.

Most of the country is expected to be drier this spring, with a few exceptions. Areas like upper Alaska, Texas, Oklahoma, the northern Appalachians, the High Plains, the upper Midwest, and the intermountain region may see more precipitation.

For Pennsylvania, the forecast is looking good. Expect warmer temperatures and below-average rainfall in both April and May. Plus, no significant snowfall is predicted.

After such a long, cold winter, a warm spring sounds perfect. Get ready to enjoy the sunshine and plan those outdoor concerts and events!
