
Atlanta Falcons edge rusher James Pearce Jr. has been arrested.
The 23-year-old professional football player was taken into custody on Saturday (February 7) in South Fla. after initially fleeing from and eluding the police.

He eventually crashed at Northwest 103rd Avenue and 66th Street, where he was subsequently handcuffed, per CBS Sports.
James reportedly fled the scene of a dispute involving his girlfriend, WNBA star Rickea Jackson.
He was arrested on two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated stalking, plus for fleeing police.
The Falcons have released a statement: “We are aware of an incident involving James Pearce Jr. in Miami. We are in the process of gathering more information and will not have any further comment on an open legal matter at this time.”
He has been booked into Turner Guilford Knights Correctional Center in Miami-Dade County. No bond has been set yet.
