The All-American Rejects are set to release their fifth album, *Sandbox*, on May 15 through Slick Shoes. This will be their first full-length album since 2012’s *Kids in the Street*. The new record will feature recent singles, including the track “Get This,” which has already gained three million streams and is trending on TikTok Viral Charts in the UK, US, Canada, and Germany.
Formed in 1999 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the band is led by Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler. They burst onto the scene in 2002 with their hit “Swing, Swing.” Their 2005 album, *Move Along*, produced several chart-toppers and became a global success, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 2009.
Tyson Ritter recently shared his thoughts on the new album, saying, “People don’t really want a new All-American Rejects record. They want their time capsule. But what if we can say something now? What if we can actually resonate?”
The band will kick off their European and UK Recess summer tour on June 9 in Warsaw, Poland. The tour will include stops in Berlin, London, Paris, and the Download Festival in the UK. This will be their first tour in the UK in over ten years.
Tickets go on sale on February 13 via Ticketmaster. The tour will wrap up on June 19 at Bataclan in Paris, with other stops including Manchester Academy on June 14 and O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on June 16. Get ready for some great music and an exciting summer!
