Yungblud has released the second part of his GRAMMY-nominated album, Idols, on Friday. Titled Idols II, the album features seven tracks, including a new version of “Zombie” with The Smashing Pumpkins and six brand-new songs. You can stream it now, with physical copies set to be available later this year.
In a statement, Yungblud shared his thoughts on the album: “This is it. The second chapter of the Idols story. Part 1 was a journey that helped me reclaim my identity from the darkest position I’ve ever been in my life. Part 2 is about realizing that I am alive, that I am real, that this journey that I’ve been on didn’t kill me.” He emphasized that this sequel is about feeling invincible when being true to oneself. “It’s about comprehending that my heart is beating and that my lungs are filling up with air,” he added.
The first Idols album dropped in June 2025 and received nominations for best rock album at the 2026 GRAMMYs. The lead single, “Zombie,” was nominated for best rock song. Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, won best rock performance for his rendition of a song at Ozzy Osbourne’s farewell show in Birmingham, England. He has four U.K. No. 1 albums, including Idols and his collaboration with Aerosmith, One More Time. His music has surpassed 6 billion streams worldwide.
Starting Friday, fans can get physical copies on 180-gram vinyl and CD. Both albums will also be released together as a double album on 2-LP vinyl for collectors. Yungblud will kick off his 2026 North American tour in May, following a sold-out U.K. arena tour, which includes a show at The O2 in London on April 24.
