Queens of the Stone Age Announces Catacombs Tour: Five West Coast Concerts Kicking Off in April

Queens of the Stone Age are hitting the West Coast for a series of shows starting April 24 in Joshua Tree, California. This marks their first headlining tour of the year. The tour kicks off at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center, a special location for frontman Josh Homme, who grew up in nearby Palm Desert.

After Joshua Tree, the band will perform in Rancho Mirage, then head north to Portland and Seattle, wrapping up the tour on May 1 at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln. During these shows, they will rework songs from their entire discography with new arrangements, inspired by their “Alive in the Catacombs” concert film and live EP recorded in the tunnels beneath Paris. Expect to hear strings added to their usual sound.

Fans and critics praised the initial Catacombs Tour in 2025, and these spring dates will continue that unique approach in theaters and intimate venues. Libby Grace will open for them at every show.

Once this short headlining run is over, Queens of the Stone Age will join Foo Fighters for a stadium tour starting August 4 in Toronto. This tour will cover various U.S. cities, with Mannequin Pussy and Gouge Away joining on select dates.

They also have European shows lined up for the summer, featuring acts like System of a Down and Acid Bath at stadiums in cities like Stockholm, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Düsseldorf, London, and Warsaw.

Artist pre-sale tickets went on sale yesterday at 10 a.m. Pacific, and public sales start Friday at 10 a.m. Pacific.

Confirmed Catacombs Tour dates include:
– April 24: Joshua Tree Retreat Center
– April 25: Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage
– April 27: Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, Portland
– April 29: Paramount Theatre, Seattle
– May 1: Thunder Valley Casino Resort, Lincoln
