Queens of the Stone Age are bringing back their Catacombs tour for five special shows in the U.S. this spring. Tickets are on sale now. The tour kicks off on April 24 at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center in Joshua Tree, California. This show is especially meaningful for lead singer Josh Homme, who grew up nearby.
The band will perform next on April 25 at Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage in Rancho Mirage, California. After that, they’ll head north to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon, on April 27. The tour will wrap up with two more shows: The Paramount Theatre in Seattle on April 29 and Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California, on May 1. Libby Grace will open for them at every performance.
These concerts will feature reimagined versions of the band’s songs. The group describes this tour as “a one-of-a-kind undertaking,” with all-new musical arrangements crafted just for these shows. Fans can expect a fresh take on familiar tracks, as strings and ensembles replace the usual rock setup.
The Catacombs tour concept is inspired by the band’s concert film, “Alive in the Catacombs,” which was filmed deep within the Paris Catacombs. The initial tour wrapped up in December after stops across North America and Europe, and now fans have another chance to experience this unique performance.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see Queens of the Stone Age like never before! Grab your tickets and get ready for an unforgettable night of music.
