Badflower’s tour presses on as frontman Josh Katz manages vocal challenges.

Badflower’s tour is still on, despite frontman Josh Katz facing vocal issues. During a show in Salt Lake City on Friday, Katz cut the performance short and told fans he was ending the tour. However, he later clarified that the tour is not canceled.

In a video posted on Badflower’s Facebook, Katz explained, “I had a full-on breakdown onstage at the last show. I announced to the crowd that I was done with this tour because I’m so stressed out about my voice.” He shared that the situation is affecting him mentally more than physically. “It’s tough not knowing what’s wrong and what kind of performance I’ll be able to give. I only find out when I hit that first note onstage, and then I have to perform for an hour and a half in front of a big crowd. The pressure is a lot.”

Katz also mentioned that many fellow singers have reached out with support and advice. He emphasized the importance of feeling mentally supported right now. “I feel strong enough to continue with this tour and my career,” he said.

Badflower’s tour is set to continue on Tuesday in Seattle, supporting their latest album, “No Place Like Home,” released in 2025. Fans can look forward to more updates as the tour goes on!
