Chick-fil-A Reverses Change to Waffle Fries Recipe

Chick-fil-A is making a change after hearing customer feedback. The fast food chain confirmed that their Waffle Fries recipe will no longer include pea starch. In 2024, they introduced a new ingredient to help the fries stay crispier for longer. However, many fans didn’t like the new flavor. Social media influencer Daryl-Ann Denner shared her disappointment, saying, “They added this P protein so they don’t get soggy. But now they just taste gross. You know I love you, Chick-fil-A. You can do no wrong, except this lol.”

Other customers echoed her sentiments, noting that the taste of the fries had changed and some even said they were less interested in eating at Chick-fil-A after the recipe update.

In response to the feedback, Chick-fil-A has decided to revert the change. They updated their website to confirm that their Waffle Fries no longer contain pea starch. Now it clearly states, “Does your Waffle Fry recipe contain Pea Starch? No.”

In addition to the fry changes, Chick-fil-A also adjusted its chicken recipe for the first time in a decade. They have relaxed their “raised with antibiotics” policy to help manage costs and ensure a steady chicken supply. While the company claims there’s no taste difference, some customers are skeptical.

Chick-fil-A is listening to its fans, and it looks like they’re working hard to keep everyone happy!
