Nothing More has canceled all their European festival shows for summer 2026. The San Antonio rock band announced this decision on social media as they focus on finishing their next album.
Their recent CARNAL era tour was a huge success, featuring 193 performances across multiple continents. The three legs of their European tour attracted the largest crowds the band has ever seen. Now, Jonny Hawkins, Mark Vollelunga, Daniel Oliver, and Ben Anderson are taking a break from touring to spend time with their families and recharge.
In their statement, the band said, “After a lot of careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to step away from our European festival tour this summer to focus on finishing our new album. The CARNAL era has taken us around the world for 193 shows, including three European tours and the biggest crowds of our career.” They added, “It’s been incredible, but we need this time to recharge, be with our families, and make the best record we can. Thank you for understanding. We’ll see you in 2027 with new music.”
Founded in 2003, Nothing More worked hard for years, releasing music independently while waiting for a record deal. The current lineup found its groove when drummer Hawkins took over as the lead singer. After three years of self-funding their fourth album, they signed a five-album deal with Eleven Seven Music. Their self-titled album in 2014 was a breakthrough, with the hit “This is the Time (Ballast)” reaching number one on the Mediabase Active Rock chart and number two on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. Their 2017 album, The Stories We Tell Ourselves, earned three GRAMMY nominations.
Fans can look forward to their return to Europe in 2027 with new music, though specific dates are still to be announced.
