​Kirk Hammett, Izzy Stradlin, and Ace Frehley’s guitars are heading to auction.  

Guitars from rock legends Kirk Hammett, Izzy Stradlin, and Ace Frehley are set to hit the auction block soon. Julien’s Auctions is hosting a Music Icons sale, featuring these iconic instruments.

Kirk Hammett of Metallica is offering his first-ever Ouija ESP custom guitar. This special guitar is signed by Hammett and has a note that reads, “The very first Ouija guitar – 0001! This was one of my main touring + recording guitars throughout the ’90s.” It’s expected to sell for between $250,000 and $350,000.

Izzy Stradlin, the former guitarist of Guns N’ Roses, is parting with his 1987 Gibson HR Fusion 1, which he used in the “Welcome to the Jungle” music video. This guitar is estimated to fetch between $30,000 and $50,000.

Ace Frehley’s 1975 Gibson Les Paul, known for its sunburst finish and heavy use, is expected to bring in between $400,000 and $600,000.

The auction will also feature instruments from Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward and former Mötley Crüe guitarist Mick Mars. Bidding starts on April 27, with the live auction taking place on May 29 and 30 at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, New York City.
