Three Days Grace is back in the spotlight with two nominations for the 2026 JUNO Awards, happening this Sunday. The Canadian rock band has now received a total of 13 nominations for Canada’s version of the Grammys, but they’ve yet to win a JUNO. Frontman Adam Gontier joked, “We’re almost to the point where we’ve been nominated the most times without an award.”
This situation has led some to compare them to Susan Lucci, who was famously nominated 18 times for the Daytime Emmys before finally winning. Gontier, however, sees it differently. “We’re hoping that we don’t get one so we can take over the top spot of not winning,” he said.
This year, Three Days Grace is nominated for Group of the Year and Rock Album of the Year for their latest release, *Alienation*. This album marks the return of Gontier, who rejoined the band in 2024 after a nine-year break, alongside longtime vocalist Matt Walst.
The band is excited about the positive response from fans regarding their new lineup. Gontier shared, “It’s meant a lot. We thought it was something that the fans sort of deserve.” He added that it’s been great to combine their early and later music, allowing fans to enjoy the full journey of Three Days Grace.
With the JUNOs approaching, fans are eager to see if this will finally be the year Three Days Grace takes home their first award.
