Fred Durst was in Nashville this week with Machine Gun Kelly, and it looks like they were filming a music video at a bar. Machine Gun Kelly hinted that Durst might be providing guest vocals on an unreleased track. Fans captured footage of the two artists working together, sparking excitement online. While nothing has been officially confirmed, many believe news about this collaboration could be coming soon.
Both Durst and Kelly have reinvented their styles over the years, making this partnership intriguing for fans from different music eras. Durst became a nu metal icon in the late 1990s and early 2000s with Limp Bizkit, who are still actively touring. They have 12 shows lined up for June and July, bridging the gap between nu metal and modern pop-punk.
Beyond music, Durst has ventured into filmmaking. He has directed videos for bands like Limp Bizkit, Staind, and Korn, and has made movies such as The Education of Charlie Banks, The Longshots, and The Fanatic. Recently, he expressed interest in making a horror film and even reached out to Jason Blum, the founder of Blumhouse Productions, to discuss recent horror successes.
Limp Bizkit is set to perform at several festivals this summer, including Impact Festival in Krakow, Poland, on June 3, and Rock Im Park in Nuremberg, Germany, on June 5. They will also play at Download Festival in Derby, UK, on June 10, and at Plateía Neroú in Kallithéa, Greece, on June 15. More shows are scheduled for Hellfest in France and Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium on June 18, followed by Rock Fest in Wisconsin on July 16, Summer Of ’99 And Beyond Festival in Illinois on July 18, and Inkcarceration in Ohio on July 19. Stay tuned for more updates!
