Guns N’ Roses Band Members Unite at Tribute Concert Honoring Promoter Jennifer Perry

Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler, and Gilby Clarke rocked the Troubadour in West Hollywood on March 23. They gathered to honor Jennifer Perry, a well-known rock agent and promoter from Los Angeles. The sold-out Rock for Jennifer event took place at a venue where Perry worked in the 1980s.

The musicians kicked off the night with “It’s So Easy,” joined by Faster Pussycat’s singer Taime Downe. Vicky Hamilton, who managed Guns N’ Roses in their early days and organized the tribute, announced that all proceeds would go to MusiCares. “This night celebrates her passion for championing the bands she believed in,” Hamilton said. “If she loved your music, she made sure the world heard it.” Perry passed away in February at the age of 67 after battling cancer. She had a long career at Tapestry Artists and was a senior booker at Avalon Attractions. Perry also co-created OzzFest with Sharon Osbourne and helped many acts launch their careers.

Fred Coury from Cinderella also performed at the event. Hamilton ensured that every dollar raised went to the music charity.

Slash and McKagan joined Guns N’ Roses in 1985 and left in the mid-1990s, returning in 2016. They still tour with Axl Rose. Adler played drums from 1985 to 1990, while Clarke was on rhythm guitar from 1991 to 1994. Adler made surprise appearances during the Not In This Lifetime tour, playing at several shows. Clarke joined Slash, McKagan, Adler, and Matt Sorum at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction in April 2012.

The current lineup is set to hit the road for a world tour in 2026, including a summer leg in North America. Isaac Carpenter took over drumming duties from Frank Ferrer in March 2025.
