Brian Burkheiser, the former vocalist of I Prevail, has dropped a new song titled “Fast Lane” as part of his Scatterbrain project. This is the second original track from Scatterbrain, following February’s release of “Phases.”
Burkheiser describes Scatterbrain as a pure rock project. He emphasizes that every song will feature guitar, bass, and drums. However, he also plans to mix in elements from other genres. Each track will have its own unique vibe, reflecting the project’s name.
“I call it Scatterbrain because I’m all over the place, both as a person and in my musical tastes,” Burkheiser explains. He shares that his Spotify playlist ranges from hip-hop to country to EDM.
Despite the variety, Burkheiser assures fans that they will always recognize his sound. “When someone listens to Scatterbrain, they always know it’s me,” he says. “But it can have any sort of flavor.”
