Metallica reveals $125K contribution to Hawaii flood relief efforts

Metallica Steps Up with $125K Donation for Hawaii Flood Relief

Metallica is making a big impact by donating $125,000 to help with flood relief efforts in Hawaii through their All Within My Hands charity foundation. The islands are currently facing severe flooding, the worst in over 20 years, causing an estimated $1 billion in damage.

The heavy rains, fueled by subtropical weather systems known as kona lows, have led to record-high river levels and widespread destruction. Hundreds of homes in O’ahu have been damaged, and many farms have suffered significant losses. After the storm, around 115,000 residents were left without power, and while the worst of the rain has passed, flash floods could still happen in the coming days.

Among those affected is actor Jason Momoa, a Hawaii native, who is actively helping local organizations. Metallica’s foundation expressed pride in joining forces with Jason and others to provide essential relief and recovery support to the islands.
